Adam Equipment, a leading provider of precision weighing equipment, is now shipping its large-pan Nimbus balances in North and Latin America. The high-capacity Nimbus precision balances offer easy operation, rugged construction and a generous 15.7x11.8"/400×300mm stainless steel pan for weighing bulky samples.
High-capacity Nimbus precision balances provide a readability of 0.1g in three models: NBL 12001e, NBL 16001e and NBL 22001e with capacities of 12kg, 16kg or 22kg.
Ideal for specific gravity testing on concrete or other building materials, or for weighing lab animals or compounds in bulk, the Nimbus boasts overload protection to safeguard the balance against damage from excessive weight. The all-metal casing and easy-to-clean stainless steel pan make the Nimbus suitable for use in the test lab, as well as in field labs. Power is provided by a standard AC adapter or a factory-installed optional rechargeable battery pack, allowing workers to keep the balance in the back of a truck and use it at a worksite where electricity might not be available.
The Nimbus balance combines simple operation with the solid construction and fundamental features of a high-precision top-loader.
The large keypad offers a brightly backlit LCD with intuitively designed navigation buttons, allowing workers with minimal training to operate the balance. Convenient text prompts are visible on the display, reminding users of the current function/weighing mode. The keypad can be mounted on the scale or on a factory-installed optional pillar that allows multiple users to view it simultaneously, or makes the display visible from a distance.
The full Nimbus range includes the high-capacity models as well as analytical and precision balances with readabilities from 0.1mg to 0.1g and capacities from 80g to 22kg. With numerous weighing units including a customizable unit, the Nimbus capably handles parts counting, percentage weighing, density measurement for liquids or solids, and dynamic/animal weighing. Data collection and transmission are optimized with the Nimbus's USB and RS-232 interfaces, while a third interface enables optional remote display.
