Adam Equipment will present a selection of weighing equipment during the Cannabis Science Conference, August 28-29 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. A variety of Adam's scales, balances, and moisture analyzers will be presented at booth 415.

In the spotlight will be Adam's NTEP-approved Highland balance. Ideal for use in the botanical industry, the newly approved Highland simplifies legal-for-trade measurement, lab work, field testing, and commercial applications.

  • Data communication is easy with the included RS-232 and USB interfaces
  • Powered by AC adapter or rechargeable battery for easy portability
  • For improved accuracy, a removable draft shield eliminates air disturbances
  • Internal ShockProtect® helps prevent damage from accidental overloads
  • Security slot accommodates an optional Kensington-type lock and cable

Approved models are available with capacities from 100g-5000g and readabilities from 0.01g - 0.5g. For more information on the Highland approved balance, go to https://www.adamequipment.com/highland-approved-portable-precision-balances.

Other new products on display at the conference include Adam's Equinox analytical balance, and the Latitude bench scale.

Equinox balances bring remarkable precision to labs that perform highly detailed testing. Equinox is ideal for research and quality assurance facilities; science education; precision counting; production and general laboratory applications. A five-inch, color touch-screen display provides intuitive operation, with icon-driven menus and readily accessible applications.

We will be previewing the new Latitude scale at CSC. The Latitude features amber, green and red LEDs to indicate if a sample is under, over, or within the preset limits. Powered by the included AC adapter or internal rechargeable battery, Latitude is ideal for production, warehouse or field use. For added flexibility and convenience, you can also operate the Latitude using any USB power source, such as the USB connection in a vehicle or external USB power banks.

Additionally, Adam's LBK bench scale and GBK scale will be at the booth. GBK bench scales are approved by NTEP and Measurement Canada.

LBK is simple to use, with five weighing units and modes suitable for many different applications. A sealed keypad, ABS plastic housing and large stainless steel pan are easy to clean, making LBK ideal for measuring, portioning, or weighing samples during food preparation. LBK is well-suited for weighing blood bags in medical facilities, and veterinarians can use LBK to weigh small animals and measure compounds for treatments.

Ideal for counting, batching or routine weighing, GBK features a compact stainless steel platform that fits easily on a cart or table. For flexible positioning, the pillar-mounted display can be used without the pillar. Intuitive software helps save time and reduces errors when logging data. Powered by electricity or the built-in, rechargeable battery, GBK operates in most locations. Approved GBK models are suitable for use in trade settings where goods are sold by weight.
