The weights come in sets of 1g – 200g or 1mg – 200g, and are crafted of highly polished stainless steel to help prevent corrosion. The weight sets are packaged in a lined aluminum box, complete with forceps and white cotton glove.
Adam Equipment's calibration weights can simplify external calibration on any lab balance. For labs that perform high-precision testing, using OIML class weights for calibration ensures traceability to national and international standards. Certificates of traceability for all of Adam Equipment's OIML class weights are available at the time the weights are purchased.

To achieve optimum calibration results, it's important to take proper care of the weights. To keep them clean, always store weights in a protective lined case. Even small dust particles on the weights can affect calibration results on highly sensitive balances. Using gloves or tweezers to handle weights can protect the surface from fingerprints, dirt or lint. If any residual dust from the air is present on the weight, use a soft, lightweight brush to help remove it before starting the calibration process. If there is a temperature difference between the weights and the balance, wait to calibrate until the weights adjust to the same temperature as the balance.
